Why the hell did Lunar Pages wipe out two weeks worth of posts?
Or is this a Word Press thing?
Lunar Pages, my hosting company, kept switching my blog to different servers because they say the blog is taking up too much resources. When they moved it back to the original server, my blog was reverted to almost two weeks ago.
If somebody can explain that to me without me having to call them and be placed on hold for 30 minutes, it would be greatly appreciated.

I can’t help you this time, but you might want to look into making regular database backups. Personally I use this plugin:

or you could probably do it through your hosting companies member pages (though I am not familiar with Lunar Pages.
Also I do have many of your posts stored in my RSS reader so I could send them to you and you could possible repost them without to much work. Shoot me an email if you want me to send them to you

Thanks for the response. Normally, I get back-ups emailed to me every night, but going back through my emails, I realized this stopped happening on July 17th, which is when I made the post from Mexico.
When I returned to Miami, I got a call from Lunar Pages saying they had moved my blog to another server because it was taking too much resources.
I didn’t realize at the time, but my database backups were no longer being emailed to me.
Lunar Pages told me that if I upgraded my Word Press to 2.6 from 2.3, it might resolve the issue.
But when I tried upgrading, it wasn’t going through because my blog was another server, thanks to Lunar Pages.
They kept telling me I had to fix the problem but they made it so I couldn’t fix the problem.
They kept telling me that I had to upgrade from a shared server to a personal server, which would cost me $39 a month instead of $8 a month.
Then, after numerous calls, they decided that I could go back the original server where I would be allowed to upgrade.
The upgrade went through but my blog was reverted to July 17th.
So I’m going to call Lunar Pages tomorrow to see if they are able to fix the problem, but if not, I will email you to send the posts to me.

It’s not a WordPress thing … sounds like your hosting company screwed up your database and restored and old version.
I also don’t now anything about your hosting company (I host my own) … but if you have a control panel function that allows you access to the mysql databases, there might be an automatic backup function. I would suggest using that if possible to create static backup’s on the server.
You need to contact Lunarpages as soon as possible and have them recover your WP database from the other server.

I can’t figure out why many people use crappy hosting companies. I will add “Lunar Pages” to my list of bad hosting companies.

Powweb.com changes things around you without your knowledge. My client’s email accounts all evaporated without a trace.
ah the drreaded Lunarpages “you’re site is using too much resources” warning … exactly the reason I left the company for different hosting. One thing to make sure of is that you aren’t using a Shared Server/Hosting Plan as this problem is most commonly experienced on that kind of plan.
I ended up switching hosts and going with an upgraded plan – as you get more popular this will become more of a problem.
Strange ive had domatic for years NEVER had any security issues, or downtime, and the customer service has been top notch. My guess is you used thier website login which is clear text, you need to simply use the secure login its a issue listed in thier FAQ however i would have to say my host rocks it!!!
I would give domatic a shot they ROCK! ive been with them for many years, you can check load time of thier sites, especially some of our local favorites who use thier services! http://schematic.net right here in MIAMI!
really lunarpages sucks, after collecting my money for no deserved service, and their support had no clue on how to solve my vps server problem, they simply stopped answering back, specially when i asked for their money back guarantee policy, they lied, and they keep, so keep away from them, they’re not worth your s***
