What a year for experimental digital photography! 500, 5000, 50,000 -- let me explain. Over 550 people from around the world and on every continent (except Antarctica :) have become fans of my Facebook page on Experimental Digital Photography.. 5000 copies of my book, Experimental Digital Photography, have sold and it is now in its second printing. And well over 50,000 people have read my blogs here on PIXIQ.COM.
What I tried to do this year in a variety of about 40 articles was to map out some important areas that needed to be explored from the point of view of experimental photography. And I wanted to make the case that science, art and photography are all connected -- not exclusive of each other. And, of course, I wanted to present a lot of examples of experimental work, experimental approaches and also solid how-to information.
So in this summary of the past year, I have grouped together the blogs in each category in the following index. When a blog matched two categories, I included it under each category, so some blogs will be listed more than once.
