Photography and the Environment
Created on May 28, 2011 @ 3:03PM
There are many photographers especially in the artistic community who make photographic images that are about the environment. They make images that attempt to show us the human and environmental impact of neglect, greed and stupidity that have become part of our modern world.
What do you think about photography and the environment? Is there any role for photography in helping to save the environment? Do you think it is important? Why? How can it be useful?
Have you ever seen works in a gallery, a book or a magazine that deal with environmental issues?

Yeah absolutely!
I think there are many documentary photographers out there who are doing their best to bring awareness to the subjects and topics they feel are most important. This, of course, includes the environment, saving animals, fighting poverty, etc.
I think it can be very powerful to couple compelling photographs of environments that are in danger with articles in national and international publications.
When people see a great photograph that leads or expands a story about the environment I think it makes it hit home a little bit more.
It's very important work.
I like this post it is very good and informative. I am sure
