He is the only photographer in the world ever sponsored by both Microsoft and Sony Corporations. Matthew has appeared as a photographer and guest judge on the international sensation, America's Next Top Model and interviewed on E! Entertainment, Good Day New York and The Tyra Banks Show and more. He has photographed numerous celebrity covers, fashion & beauty spreads and advertising campaigns. Matthew has also been featured in numerous publications including In Style, Zoom, Photo District News, Essence, Professional Photographer, Rangefinder and more. St. Martins Press published his first book Sepia Dreams, with an introduction by Vanessa Williams. Matthew’s second book Lost & Found was sanctioned by the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and sponsored by The Microsoft Corporation. Smith’s is currently working on a third book project with plans for more. Matthew’s photo exhibits including the Château de Vullierens Gallery, Vullierens, Switzerland, The Wave Gallery Brescia, Italy and Zevio Cultural Centre in Verona, Italy. Matthew sits on the board of both Kids With a Cause Europe and APA/LA. A native of New York City, Matthew resides in Los Angeles.
