My day job: (Ellen G. Horovitz, Ph.D., ATR-BC, LCAT, RYT) is Professor and the Director of Graduate Art Therapy  at Nazareth College of Rochester. While I teach and author art therapy books, I am most excited by new book, Digital Image Transfer: Creating Art With Your Photography , published by Sterling Publishers- Pixiq and available for pre-sale here. The book encompasses the techniques that I have been using for the last twenty years. It is a digital  guide to transferring images into alternative and mixed media art. My image picture was created using some of those techniques.
For fun, I am Media Editor for the Society for the Arts in Healthcare journal, Arts and Health: Research, Policy and Practice.  and I am a registered yoga teacher and yoga therapist and can be found twisting my way through words, images, and life when I am not blogging.
