Haje Jan Kamps

About Me
Haje is an author and editor of photography books: Always hunting for the perfect photo, or the most eloquent way of explaining why he didn't quite manage to capture the photo he wanted, but could have if he had tried harder.
When he was 16 years old, Haje discovered that there weren't any decent websites about photography in Norwegian, and decided that he could do better. He started work on his first website, was proven wrong about the 'could do better' part, but was soon bought out by a bigger company who saw an opportunity. That website was digitalkamera.no - which today is the biggest digital photography site in Norway.
Since then, Haje has taken hundreds of thousands of photos, written a few books, and has been running the highly acclaimed Photocritic photography blog. Currently, he is a full-time author and editor of photography books.
These days, Haje is travelling the world whilst working on his book, taking photos, and seeing how many different ways he can cheat death on a motorcycle.
You can find Haje elsewhere, too: He is @Photocritic on Twitter, Photocritic on Flickr, and Photocritic on Facebook. Spot a pattern yet?
If you're in publishing (or just curious), you can see his bibliography on Kamps Consulting.
