Kathy & George Lepp
About Me
Nature photographer George Lepp and his wife, Kathryn Vincent Lepp work together as one of North America’s best-known photographer/writer teams. They have co-authored three books on outdoor and wildlife photography (the award-winning Beyond the Basics volumes in 1993 and 1997, and the new Wildlife Photography: Stories from the Field), and their column and articles are regularly read in Outdoor Photographer and Digital Photo magazines, where George is Field Editor. George Lepp was named as one of the first Canon Explorers of Light, a collection of the industry’s most influential photographers. His images have appeared on the covers of many books and magazines, including Natural History, Car and Driver, PC Photo, and Outdoor Photographer; at prestigious galleries and museums throughout the United States; and at the corporate headquarters of Canon USA, Eastman Kodak, and Epson America. His stock photography is represented by Getty Images and Corbis. He has authored many books and hundreds of articles on a variety of photographic subjects and has taught seminars and workshops around the world. Lepp, a graduate of Brooks Institute of Photography, is the recipient of the prestigious Progress Award, the highest given by the Photographic Society of America. A former university administrator, Kathryn Vincent Lepp has authored and edited books and articles on a wide variety of scholarly and popular topics, including U.S.-Mexico relations, Mexican history, environmental issues, and the law. She has served as an editor for University of California Press publications and on the Editorial Advisory Board of the North American Nature Photographers Association.

Well said! But as another Canon junkie (Explorer of Light), I have to have the latest and greatest camera and lenses for Canon to use the images in brochures and on the wall at product shows.
